Caleb White, Alize Castro die in wreck, troopers say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two teens were killed in a crash early Monday in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Caleb White, 19, of Orlando, and Alize Castro, 18, of Ocoee, died in the wreck, which was reported on Boggy Creek Road at Lawson Boulevard, just north of State Road 417.

According to the FHP, White was driving a Toyota Prius west on Lawson Boulevard and a pickup was southbound on Boggy Creek when the vehicles collided.

Troopers said the Prius was at a flashing red light, and the pickup had a flashing yellow light when the Prius entered the intersection and was T-boned.

The Prius went off the road and into some bushes, troopers said.

White and Castro were taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center and later died, the FHP said.

The driver of the pickup, a 26-year-old Orlando man, suffered minor injuries, the FHP said.

An investigation is ongoing, and it's not known if any charges will be filed.
