Pedestrian struck in Sanford, police say

Victim in critical condition

SANFORD, Fla. – A pedestrian was stuck by a vehicle and critically injured Friday evening in Sanford, according to police.

The victim was walking on the sidewalk at Live Oak Boulevard and Clear Lake Circle when she was hit, police said.

Police said the woman, in her 30s, was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital in very critical condition.

Sanford police are investigating the crash.
