MAITLAND, Fla. – A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday morning near Maitland, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported around 8 a.m. on Forest City Road near Maitland Boulevard.
Troopers said a pregnant woman was driving the car that hit the pedestrian, who was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead.
Amy Seeley, 43, was later identified by troopers as the crash victim.
The pregnant woman was taken to a hospital as a precaution, the FHP said.
No other details have been released.
