Florida troopers seize 170 pounds of marijuana during traffic stop
Car hauler pulled over after driving dangerously, FHP says
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Nearly 175 pounds of marijuana was seized last month during a traffic stop in Florida, troopers said.
The FHP said the stop took place in May when a tractor-trailer car hauler was spotted driving dangerously and following a vehicle too closely on Interstate 75
A K-9 alerted troopers to the possible presence of drugs, and a search was conducted, the FHP said.
About 170 pounds of illegal marijuana, with a street value of more than $1.5 million, was found, the FHP said.
No other details have been released.
