LONGWOOD, Fla. – At least 12 vehicles were involved in a crash Thursday afternoon on westbound Interstate 4 near mile marker 94, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers are trying to determine how the vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened in an area of I-4 slightly east of State Road 434 in Longwood.
Seven vehicles will need to be towed, and at least three people were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
