Lane closures expected for four weeks in downtown Orlando for construction

ORLANDO, Fla. – For those motorists traveling downtown, an important lane change is coming. Two of the three travel lanes on Hughey Avenue will be closed for four weeks starting 10 p.m. Thursday, according to the Florida Department of Transportation. 

Drivers will be able to access South Street from Hughey Avenue. Additional closures are expected as, a full closure of Hughey Avenue will occur in mid-September and remain or 18 months.
