FHP: Man run over, killed after being ejected in Orange County crash

Troopers seek information about two vehicles


ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 29-year-old man was run over by two vehicles and killed after he was ejected from his car and landed in an Orange County roadway, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal crash was reported at 12:30 a.m. on Lake Pickett Road near Wesleyan Boulevard.

Troopers said the man, whose name has not been released, was driving a 2015 Toyota Corolla north on Lake Pickett Road when he lost control of his car, left the roadway and struck a tree.

"While airborne and rotating, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and landed in the northbound lanes of Lake Pickett Road," the FHP said in a report.

Two cars ran over the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, the FHP said.

No details about the cars or their drivers is known.
