Motorcyclist injured in I-4 crash with Orange County deputy's cruiser

ORLANDO, Fla. – A motorcycle struck the back of an Orange County sheriff's cruiser late Thursday on Interstate 4, blocking traffic on the interstate.

Orlando police said the crash was reported at 10:53 p.m. on I-4 west between State Road 408 and Kaley Street.

Police said two motorcycles were involved in the incident, with one of them hitting the patrol cruiser. That motorcyclist was found unresponsive and was taken to a hospital, police said. His condition is not known.

No other injuries were reported.

All westbound lanes of I-4 were closed during an investigation. The road was later reopened.
