CHRISTMAS, Fla. – A driver was killed Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said Galo Carrera, 29, of Orlando, died in the wreck, which was reported around 6:45 a.m. on East Colonial Drive near Nicholas Avenue in Christmas.

The FHP said Carrera's vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Carrera was ejected from the vehicle, the FHP said.
Carrera was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details have been released.
