FHP: Motorcyclist dies after hitting Kissimmee home, landing in bushes

Victim identified as Timothy Ablan, 30, of Kissimmee

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 30-year-old Kissimmee man is dead after being thrown from his motorcycle when it slammed into a home in Osceola County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Sunday afternoon that Timothy Ablan was riding the motorcycle south on Salsona Avenue when he went through the intersection at West Virginia Drive and continued on through the front yard of a home.

Ablan's motorcycle then slammed into the north side of the house, causing him to be thrown into nearby bushes, according to the report. He died at the scene of the crash, troopers said.

Troopers said they arrived at the home around 11 a.m. but that it was not immediately known what time the crash actually took place. 

The crash is still being investigated, troopers said.
