LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A two-vehicle crash involving a septic truck forced officials to close a bridge Tuesday in Lake County because of a sewage spill, deputies said.
The crash happened on Howey Bridge, which will be closed for an indefinite amount of time.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office said a vehicle collided with a septic truck, causing a major spill.
Crews are working to clean the spill.
"We hope it will be open by your afternoon commute," deputies tweeted.
County Road 48 to U.S. 27 or County Road 448 to County Road 561 can be used as alternate routes.
