Robotics company conducts test in Tampa

TAMPA, Fla. – Florida was the test site for a driverless tractor-trailer.

The self-driving big rig rolled through a closed expressway Monday in Tampa, part of a test conducted by a robotics company.

A human was in the truck to ensure it stayed on course in case something went wrong.

In the end, the test was a success.
