What the Honk: Don’t go under the railroad crossing arm or play the trumpet while driving

News 6 viewer watches driver go under railroad crossing arm

I have concluded there will never be a shortage of questionable driving behavior in Central Florida.

Like if we didn’t have enough issues with train crossings already, Dean sends in this video.

Now if the arm bars being down, with flashing red lights and ringing bells weren’t enough, impatience comes driving down the road.

You can see a white Lincoln Navigator approach the blocked crossing. The driver was not hit by a train. Crash or not, this is still dangerous. You can guarantee this will get you a ticket and a special appearance on What The Honk.

On this next one, listen, I don’t care how good the sale is, this is never a good idea.

John of Ponce Inlet sent me this one labeling it “Not to worry, we can do this in one trip”.

There are parts of this that are kinda OK with emphasis on OK, the chair hanging out of the front right passenger window is a huge no.

So let’s state the obvious, traffic can be heavy anywhere across Central Florida.

Although some things may not be illegal they can be pretty distracting and possibly dangerous.

I’m a music lover, but there are plenty of things that need to wait.

Playing your trumpet while behind the wheel is one of them.

Distracted, to say the least, but could you imagine what would happen if this driver was rear-ended by another car.

I want to keep seeing the things you’re seeing, keep your passenger pictures and dash camera videos coming and send them to me over at ClickOrlando.com/WhatTheHonk or email them directly to me at AskTrooperSteve@wkmg.com. As always, please drive safely.
