ORLANDO, Fla. - A 41-year-old Orlando man was killed early Thursday in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Troopers said Ali Davis died in the crash, which was reported at 1:30 a.m. on Colonial Drive near Home Folks Drive in Orange County.

The FHP said Harry Rohrbaugh, 57, of Orlando, was driving a Hyundai west in the center lane of Colonial Drive, and Davis was riding his motorcycle behind him in the right lane.

Rohrbaugh made a right turn from the center lane, directly into Davis' path and the front of Davis' motorcycle struck the Hyundai, troopers said.

Davis, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene, the FHP said.

Rohrbaugh was not injured, troopers said.

Charges are pending against Rohrbaugh.
