ST. CLOUD, Fla. – A pedestrian walking in an Osceola County road was struck and killed Wednesday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal crash was reported around 6:45 a.m. on U.S. 192 and Pine Grove Road near St. Cloud.

The FHP said a man was in the eastbound lane of U.S. 192 when the driver of a 2018 four-door Nissan could not avoid him.
The front of the car struck the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene, the FHP said. His name has not been released.
It's not known why the man was in the road.
