COCOA, Fla. – Two people were sent to the hospital in Brevard County after a car slammed into a building Sunday night.
The crash happened on U.S. 1 and Lutz Street, just north of Cocoa.

Brevard County Fire Rescue said the victims had to be airlifted to the hospital as trauma alert patients.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
