City commission passes safety ordinance for Downtown Orlando following shooting
After more than an hour of discussion Monday, Orlando city commissioners unanimously passed the first reading of a new ordinance aimed at reducing crime downtown. This comes more than two weeks after seven people were hurt in downtown Orlando after a fight led to gunfire near Wall Street and Orange Avenue, police said.
