Cold front to bring showers, storms to Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – Things are about to get exciting in Central Florida as a cold front brings showers and thunderstorms starting Friday.

Look for the sky to be clear and temps to remain mild on Thursday night. The low will dip to 64 in Orlando and patchy fog will set up late.

Friday the fog clears early, clouds build, and showers and thunderstorms should hit in the mid-day to early afternoon. The high Friday will be 84 degrees and early thunderstorms calm late, bringing the low to 63.

Saturday looks active with a high of 80 and a 40 percent chance of showers.

Sunday looks like it will touch and go for showers at the Daytona 500. The high will be 83 degrees and rain chances will be 30 percent.
