More rain headed to Central Florida

Easter Sunday in Orlando expected to be dry, highs in low 80s

ORLANDO, Fla. – More rain is headed to Central Florida, but the forecast for Easter Sunday is looking good.

High temperatures in Orlando will warm to 79 degrees Thursday, with increasing clouds.

"The same front that brought rain and storm a couple of days ago will move back into Central Florida, bringing increased rain chances," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Thursday's rain chances will be at 20 percent by noon and 40 percent later in the day, Bridges said.

The overnight low will be 67 degrees.

Friday's rain chances jump to 80 percent, with a high temperature of 82 degrees.

Rain chances stand at 40 percent on Saturday, with a high of 79.

"Easter Sunday will be dry, with a high of 82 and partly cloudy skies," Bridges said.  "Sunrise on Easter will be at 6:55 a.m."
