More heat, storms in Central Florida forecast
Strong storms expected each afternoon this week
ORLANDO, Fla. – The wet season has arrived in Central Florida.

"We'll be tracking rain and storms each afternoon for the next several months," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Some storms could be strong, with gusty winds and heavy rain."
Tuesday's high in Orlando will reach 92 degrees.
"Rain chances will be at 30 percent as the east coast sea breeze pushes inland on Tuesday and Wednesday," Bridges said.
Rain chances increase to 40 percent for Thursday and Friday.
Highs Wednesday through the weekend will be in the low 90s.
Overnight lows will be in the low 70s.
For beachgoers, the rip current risk will be high for the next several days.
