Central Florida forecast calls for 90s, afternoon storms

Average high in Orlando is 90 degrees

ORLANDO, Fla. – More afternoon storms are expected Friday in Central Florida.

"The sea breezes come together on Friday and for the weekend," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The high temperature in Orlando will reach the low 90s, with a 60 percent coverage of rain.  The average high for Orlando is 90.

The overnight low will be in the low 70s.

High temperatures will remain in the low 90s through the weekend and into next week.

"Rain chances will be at 50 percent on Saturday and 40 percent on Sunday," Bridges said.

The risk for rip currents will be moderate for the weekend.
