Heavy rain hits Central Florida counties

Tropical Depression moving west

CENTRAL FLORIDA, Fla. – Central Florida can expect heavy rain Tuesday evening despite Tropical Depression two moving quickly to the west.

The heavy storms in Brevard County are making their way to Seminole and Orange counties right now, and will drop the temperature to the mid 70s.

Later in the evening, the west coast sea breeze will move the heavy storms north into Lake and Marion counties.

Typical summer weather is expected for the rest of the week, with a high of 93 degrees and a 40 percent rain chance on Wednesday.

Thursday will have a similar forecast of up to 93 degrees and a 30 percent rain chance. Also, by Thursday, Tropical Depression two is expected to break apart.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday will each have a high of 92 degrees with a 50 percent chance of rain.
