ORLANDO, Fla. – A second straight hot, breezy day is forecast for Central Florida as Hurricane Cristobal churns in the Atlantic.

High temperatures in Orlando will be in the low 90s on Tuesday before jumping to the mid-90s from Wednesday through the end of the week.
"Drier air moves into the mid-levels of the atmosphere, leading to only light showers on and off through Tuesday as winds kick up out of the northeast near 30 mile per hour," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "The drier air in the mid-levels don't allow thunderstorms to develop. Quick-moving showers will have a low coverage of 20 percent through in Central Florida."
Cristobal, spinning near the Bahamas, is a minimal Category 1 hurricane, with maximum winds of 75 miles per hour. Cristobal is moving north at 12 miles per hour.
The hurricane is not expected to directly impact Florida or the U.S. east coast.
