Widespread storms forecast for Central Florida

High in Orlando to reach 92 degrees

ORLANDO, Fla. – Widespread afternoon storms are expected Tuesday in Central Florida.

"There's the potential for heavy rain, just like Monday," said Local 6 meteorologist Julie Broughton.

The high temperature in Orlando will reach 92 degrees.  The overnight low will be in the mid-70s.

"Drier air will come into Central Florida for Wednesday," said Broughton, who added that rain chances dip to 40 percent on Wednesday and 30 percent on Thursday.

Wednesday's high will reach 93 degrees in Orlando.

The weekend will see highs closer to 90 degrees.
