One more warm day before cooldown hits Central Florida

High of 70 forecast for Orlando on Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. – A new front brings fog to Central Florida on Thursday morning.

"A few showers will roll in off the coast, with minimal coverage into the afternoon," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "The front moves in overnight Thursday into Friday, bringing cooler temperatures for the end of the week and the weekend."

Highs will reach the mid-80s on Thursday.  The average high in Orlando is 80.

Thursday's high will be 85 degrees.

"After the front passes, highs will only reach the mid-70s for Friday and Saturday," Bridges said.  "An area of low pressure will bring increasing rain for the weekend."

Sunday's high will be 70 in Orlando, while many areas in Central Florida will only warm into the 60s.

Rain chances increase to 40 percent on Sunday.

Monday and Tuesday (Veteran's Day) will be dry and in the mid- and upper 70s across the region.
