"Just as predicted, a cold front is moving through Central Florida on Friday morning," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "The front is coming in dry and there is a lot of cold air building in behind the front."

After starting in the 30s and 40s across Central Florida, temperatures will struggle to reach 60 degrees on Friday.

"Most of Friday will be in the 50s," Bridges said.

Friday night will be the coldest of the weekend, with temperatures dropping into the 30s for most areas.

Freeze watches are in effect through Saturday morning in Flagler and Marion counties.

"Rain will stay out of the forecast until Wednesday of next week," Bridges said.

Highs will only reach the mid-60s Saturday and Sunday, with morning lows in the 30s and 40s all weekend.
