More storms could hit Central Florida

Highs in upper 80s expected in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Expect another warm day in Central Florida, with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms.

Highs in Orlando on Thursday will top out at 86 degrees, with southeast winds at 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Isolated showers track inland, with the best chance for measurable rain north and west of Orlando.  The chance of rain is 20 percent at the coast and in Orlando.  Rain chances increase to 30 percent for areas near The Villages and Ocala.

Mild temperatures stick around overnight, with a low of 67.

"Expect some light, patchy fog for your Friday morning drive," Local 6's Julie Broughton said.

An approaching front keeps the chance of rain in the forecast for the weekend, with highs remaining warmer than normal in the mid- to upper 80s.
