ORLANDO, Fla. – Rain will fall over a large portion of Central Florida on Friday.
"A weak front will be draped across north Central Florida through the day, bringing rain chances off and on," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "A few of those showers will be heavy, with downpours and storms possible into the afternoon hours."
Rain chances will be at 50 percent in the afternoon and early evening but will will taper off into the late evening hours.
Afternoon high temperatures will be close to the average -- upper 80s -- from Friday into the start of next week.
Rain chances will be at 40 percent Saturday before dropping to 20 percent Sunday.
