ORLANDO, Fla. – Expect a mostly dry and sunny start to your Sunday, with clouds beginning to build in by the lunch hour.

Afternoon highs will top off near average, in the low 90s with rain chances back at 60 percent. Western areas will start to see the storms roll in by 1-3 p.m. with areas further to the east seeing the brunt of the rain by the latter part of the afternoon.

Along with frequent lightning, some areas could also see locally heavy downpours increasing the chance of street flooding.

Typical summer weather patterns will continue into most of next week, with highs remaining in the low 90s and storm coverage between a 40-60 percent.
