Central Florida to be hot, muggy, stormy this week

ORLANDO, Fla. – Hot, muggy and a good chance of storms: that's the forecast for Central Florida this week.

Afternoon high temperatures will be near 92 degrees in Orlando for most of the week.

"Rain chances will still be in the forecast through the afternoon on Monday as we track the west coast sea breeze," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

The coverage of rain will be 40 percent of the region on Monday and Tuesday.

Rain chances increase to 50 percent on Thursday before jumping to 60 percent from Friday through the weekend.
