ORLANDO, Fla. – The same weather story continues in Central Florida: hot and stormy.

Rain will cover 50 percent of the region, Bridges said.

Afternoon highs will be in the low and mid-90s and the heat index will be over 100 degrees.  The average high in Orlando is 92.
