Rain chances on rise in Central Florida

High of 90 expected in Orlando


ORLANDO, Fla. – Rain chances are on the rise in Central Florida.

"Rain chances increase on Tuesday as we track a front stalled out over Central Florida," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "Also, the east coast sea breeze brings in more moisture.  

Rain chances will be at 40 percent across the region, with a high of 90 degrees in Orlando.

"Winds will likely kick up a bit Tuesday afternoon, gusting near 20 mph," Bridges said.

Rain chances increase to 60 percent for Wednesday through the end of the workweek, with high temperatures in the mid- and upper 80s.

"Parts of Brevard County over the next few days could see measurable rain up to more than 4 inches," Bridges said.

Rain chances will be at 50 percent on Saturday and 40 percent on Sunday.
