Central Florida to see another nice weather day
Rain chances stay low in Orlando area
ORLANDO, Fla. – Another nice day is forecast for Central Florida.
"Expect one more day with low rain chances of 20 percent as dry air and high pressure continue to dominate," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.
Afternoon high temperatures Tuesday will be in the low 90s in Orlando.
"Rain chances increase to 40 percent on Wednesday and Thursday as a front to the north and more moisture act as focal points for more scattered storms," Bridges said.
Afternoon highs for Wednesday, the first day of fall, will be in the upper 80s.
Temperatures will stay in the upper 80s through the end of the week, with rain chances at 40 to 50 percent.
Tracking the Tropics
"Tropical Storm Ida continues to stay out in the open Atlantic and wobble about, not impacting land," Bridges said. "There is an area of low pressure with a 20 percent chance of tropical development off the Carolina coast, but it won't affect Florida."
