High pressure weakens but still produces rip currents
Temps near average to above average next few days
Orlando, Fla. – High pressure off the east coast will begin to weaken over the next few days. Even with a lighter breeze in place Sunday, there is still a moderate risk of rip currents.
?This consistent weather pattern will keep temperatures near to above average in the mid to low 80s for the next few days, along with minimal rain chances (10-20 percent).
We could see a small change in our forecast by the middle and end of next week as a front slowly tracks south. Some models are showing this system moving into the area by Wednesday or Thursday. This could increase the threat for a few more showers in the forecast with slightly warmer conditions ahead of the front.
