Sunshine expected to abound in Central Florida

No rain in Orlando-area forecast through weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – After days of rain, the sun is expected to shine again in Central Florida.

"Now that the front is moving to the south of Central Florida, we are beginning to clear out and cool down," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Rain chances are out of the picture altogether through the weekend."

Afternoon high temperatures will reach the upper 60s on Friday.

The average afternoon high temperature for Orlando is 70 degrees.

Temperatures will warm to 70 on Saturday and 75 degrees on Sunday.

"Morning lows will be in the 40s by Sunday, so grab a coat heading to church," Bridges said.

Rain chances return next week.

"Slight rain chances return on Monday at 10 percent before jumping to 30 percent on Wednesday and Thursday," Bridges said.
