Great run of weather to continue in Central Florida

The great run of weather will continue on Thursday, according to News 6 Chief Meteorologist Tom Sorrells.

The overnight low Thursday will drop to 53 degrees under a clear sky.

"The winds will pick up a little," Sorrells said. "They will be from the NNE 10-15 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph."

On Friday the temperature pops back to 74 for a high.

"The sun will be shining all day," Sorrells said.

Saturday we warm to a high of 75 degrees. Sunday we get all the way up to 77 degrees.

Weather for the Daytona 500 will be mostly sunny, dry, and mild. The high Sunday in Daytona Beach will be 72 with only a light breeze.
