Rain chances along the coast will be 10 percent or less, with a high Friday in the mid-70s in many spots.

"Winds will make a bit of a shift in the afternoon, coming in out of the east-northeast," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "That will bring onshore a few additional clouds and one or two light sprinkles, mainly along the coast."

Temperatures will be on target near the average in most spots. The average high in Orlando is 74 degrees.

"No rain into the weekend, with temperatures warming into the mid-70s on Saturday," Bridges said. "Expect the upper 70s on Sunday."

Temperatures for Sunday's Daytona 500 will be in the low 70s, with dry conditions.

Rain chances return next week, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a few thunderstorms.

The high will be 80 degrees on Tuesday.
