Great day in store for central Florida on Saturday

Rain not in forecast until Monday night

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central  Florida is the place to be this time of year with lots of sunshine and mild temperatures.

Patchy fog begins the day in some locations but will burn off by 9 a.m. Saturday when sunny to partly cloudy skies allow temperatures to climb to 76 degrees in Orlando, 72 degrees in Daytona Beach and 74 degrees in Palm Bay.

Nice conditions will continue into the evening hours Saturday with just a few clouds in the skies. Lows Saturday night will range from 56 degrees in Melbourne and Orlando to 54 degrees in Daytona Beach.

There will be more of the same Sunday, which will begin with some fog. Temperatures jump back to the 70s with mostly sunny skies.

The Daytona 500 race time temperature will be 72 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

Rain returns to the forecast by Monday night and will stay in the forecast until Wednesday.
