Highs climb into 80s in Central Florida

Little chance of rain in Orlando area through weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – A very nice week of weather rolls on in the Orlando area.

"High pressure continues to dominate the forecast across Central Florida for the next couple of days," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.  "There's a clockwise flow around the area off the East Coast, bringing onshore southerly winds and leading to a warm-up this time of year."

The high in Orlando on Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the low 80s.  Overnight lows will range from the mid-50s to the low 60s.

The average afternoon high in Orlando is 76 degrees.

"Afternoon high temperatures will be in the upper 70s on Thursday and Friday, with rain chances out of the picture through next weekend," Bridges said.
