"Rain chances will be altogether out of the picture the rest of the day, with clearing skies and more sunshine by the afternoon," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Expect Friday's high to reach 79 degrees. The average afternoon high in Orlando on this date is 76.

"Rain will stay out of the forecast through the weekend, with highs in the mid- and upper 70s," Bridges said.

Bike Week 2016 begins Friday in Daytona Beach, and sunshine will abound after the morning showers clear, Bridges said. Highs in Daytona will be in the mid-70s.

Temperatures next week will be in the mid-80s, with no rain.

The fire threat will be elevated next week, with temperatures in the mid-80s and no rain.

"Without rain in the forecast, we will be dealing with a high pollen count in all categories including Juniper, grass and oak," Bridges said.
