"Rain chances will stay out of the picture until Sunday, as high pressure continues to dominate the forecast," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Breezy and hot conditions can be expected Friday, with south- southeast winds through the day.

Afternoon high temperatures will reach 87 degrees in many spots, including Orlando. The average afternoon high in Orlando on this date is 77.

"Temperatures will be close to 10 degrees above the average through the weekend," Bridges said. "The area of high pressure that is leading to dry conditions through Friday and Saturday will break down by Sunday."

Rain chances increase to 60 percent on Sunday as a front approaches.

"There will be a few thunderstorms, but no risk of severe weather on Sunday," Bridges said.

Afternoon high temperatures remain in the mid-80s into early next week.
