Rain chances return to central Florida forecast

ORLANDO, Fla. – An approaching cold front will increase moisture and instability across central Florida this weekend. The bulk of the rain moved in Saturday afternoon.

Although the clouds will linger, most of the rain activity on the radar should taper off by daybreak Sunday as the front clears.

Along with much needed rain, this front is also expected to bring temperatures back to normal. After more than two weeks with highs above 80 degrees, Sunday's highs should remain in the mid-70s.

Tons of sunshine and cooler temperatures await us Monday and Tuesday as drier air moves in. Rain chance coverage will remain minimal through most of the week.
