ORLANDO, Fla. – Lots of sunshine, big puffy clouds and slightly lower humidity have made for a pleasant, but warm, Saturday.
There is still a 30 percent chance of showers popping up, but not expecting anything severe. These showers will produce some heavy rains and will be widely scattered around Central Florida.
Temperatures are expected to hit 89 degres inland and around 85 degrees at the beaches. Saturday night, under mostly clear skies, temperatures will drop to 70 degrees in Daytona Beach, 72 degrees in Orlando and 71 degrees in Melbourne.
Lots and lots of sunshine for Sunday with temperatures around 89 degrees in the interior and 85 degrees along the shore. No mention of rain in the forecast.
Sunday will be the beginning of a stretch of dry weather lasting about five days. The next mention of rain returns on Friday. Temperatures will continue around 89 degrees in Orlando for the entire week.
