Another toasty day in store for central Florida

Usual afternoon storms are expected

ORLANDO, Fla. –  We have yet another toasty Saturday in central Florida.

Most of central Florida will be hitting the mid to high 90s, while Orlando will be 94 degrees. By 3 p.m. we will feel like 100 degrees so make sure you stay in the shade and hydrate if you are out and about Saturday.

We still have a 40 percent chance of rain after 2 p.m. inland when the sea breezes collide. The east coast has a 30 percent chance so it is a great day to get out to the beach. Only a slight rip current risk but the UV index is high. Make sure you wear plenty of sunscreen.

For Saturday night it is a great night to go to the Orlando Pride soccer game. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. and rain chances should be down to 30 percent and less than 20 percent by 9 p.m.

We're looking at a low of 76 degrees in Orlando.

For Sunday it's about the same story. We get to a high of 93 degrees and still a 40 percent chance of afternoon showers mainly after 2 p.m. By next week, that's when we finally see some changes. Monday-Friday we stay in the low 90s, which is average for this time of year.

Our rain chances stick around 50 percent for the week.
