Cooler temperatures in Central Florida forecast

Highs to hit mid-70s in Orlando area

ORLANDO, Fla. – Temperatures will dip a bit Wednesday in Central Florida.

"We are pinpointing a new front across the region," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Temperatures will be cooler as the front approaches. Expect lots of cloud cover across Central Florida."

High temperatures will be in the mid-70s on Wednesday afternoon.

The average afternoon high in Orlando on this date is 80 degrees.

"Rain chances will be at 10 percent as we see a couple of sprinkles as the front moves through," Bridges said. "Rain chances will be out of the picture for the end of the week, but afternoon highs behind the front will be in the upper 70s."

Morning lows will be in the mid-50s by the weekend.

Expect a high of 76 on Sunday.

There's a 20 percent chance of rain Monday and Tuesday as more moisture works into the atmosphere.
