Overnight low in Orlando to reach upper 50s

ORLANDO, Fla. – Fall in Florida: is anything better?

"We have a really nice Saturday ahead of us in Central Florida," News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said. "We will reach a high of 79, with no chance of rain and not even much cloud cover."

Winds will be light throughout the day, coming from the northeast at 5 mph.

"By 2 p.m., we could see some cloud cover move in, but only leaving us partly cloudy," Evans said. "It's a really good day to get out on the water or to the beach."

Daytona Beach will reach a high of 78, with the water at 72 degrees.

"Seas are a little high at 2-3 feet and mostly smooth on the bay," she said. "There is a moderate rip current risk, so make sure you always swim near a lifeguard."

The overnight low will reach 57 degrees under a partly cloudy sky.

Sunday is looking just as nice.

"We could start off the day with some fog, then clear up nicely to a high of 81," Evans said. "There's still only a very slight chance of some scattered showers on the east coast."
