ORLANDO, Fla. – There were clear skies and lots of sunshine for the first day of 2017, and the new year brought some warmer temperatures, too.
Along with the warm temperatures, a southerly wind brought back moisture that raised the humidity and provided support for our next chance of rain that will arrive on Monday afternoon and continue into Tuesday. Additionally, there could be some thunderstorms Monday night.
Overnight, under partly cloudy skies, temperatures will stay in the low to mid-60s.
Monday will see clouds building up after a morning with fog potential. Highs will be in the 80s again on Monday and Tuesday.
A brief shot of cooler air is expected for Wednesday and Thursday, followed by more rain chances for Friday and Saturday.
