ORLANDO, Fla. – The above average temperatures continue Thursday in Central Florida, News 6 meteorologist Candice Campos said.
Thursday morning will start with some fog which will clear into a sunny sky.
It will be nice and dry during the day with a slim chance of rain in the morning -- less than 10 percent.
Temperatures throughout the day will remain well above average with a high of 80 to 82 degrees. The average for this time in January is in the mid 70s, Campos said.
Patchy fog will develop Thursday evening around 8 p.m. and the temperature will drop slightly to 68 degrees by 10 p.m.
The warming trend continues Friday into the weekend and might bring some needed rain.
“It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen some beneficial showers,” Campos said.
By Saturday, rain chances increase to 60 percent with the potential for some severe thunderstorms.
