ORLANDO, Fla. – "Yesterday was good, but today is great!" News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said.
Almost all of Central Florida will make it into the 80s Sunday afternoon.
Orlando will reach a high of 82 degrees, which is about 10 degrees higher than the usual high of 72 degrees this time of year. It will be sunny all day, with little to no cloud cover. Rain won't be a factor. Wind will be coming from the west southwest at 5-10 mph.
It's a great day for the beach. Daytona Beach will reach a high of 80 degrees. There is a moderate rip current risk and seas will be as high as 2-3 feet.
It won't be as chilly as Saturday night, with Sunday night making it to a low of 59 degrees under a mostly clear sky. Late fog will develop.
There could once again be some fog for Monday's early-morning commute.
"(It's) looking a little cooler than the weekend, with a high of 76 under a partly cloudy sky," Evans said.
