Friday's weather is a great start to the weekend, but will it continue?

Rain chances increasing for Sunday

ORLANDO, Fla. – Friday night is looking nice for Central Florida.

News 6 Chief Meteorologist Tom Sorrells says Central Florida can expect to see a partly-cloudy sky, with a low of 62 degrees.

"For Saturday, we will have a near-perfect day, with lots of sunshine and a high of 78," Sorrells said.

Clouds will return Saturday night, and there will be a chance of rain late into the evening.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with rain chances starting on the east coast in southern Brevard County early in the morning. The first showers could be on shore as early as 7 a.m, with some of the moisture moving toward inland areas after 9 a.m.

There will be rain chances on and off throughout most of Sunday morning and afternoon, with a high of 78 degrees.
